The Uttar Pradesh government (Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath) providing various benefits to Uttar Pradesh state senior citizens through Up Old Age Pension Scheme 2021. Those who have age above 60 years can apply for this scheme. All senior citizens over the age of 60 years who have applied for the said scheme will get the Rupees Five hundred per month by the UP government, and the money will be paid via online mode directly into the registered bank account. गुरुवार (02 सितंबर 2021) को मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ द्वारा राष्ट्रीय वृद्धावस्था पेंशन योजना के लिए पंजीकृत 55.77 लाख लाभार्थियों के बैंक खातों में ₹836.55 करोड़ की राशि हस्तांतरित की गई है। सीएम ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में कोई भी जरूरतों से वंचित नहीं रहेगा। उन्होंने बैठक में यह भी घोषणा की कि वृद्धावस्था पेंशन योजना का उद्देश्य प्रत्येक गरीब, किसान, वृद्ध व्यक्ति और गरीब महिला को बिना किसी भेदभाव के लाभ प्रदान करना है।
उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में कोई भी भूखा नहीं रहेगा या बुनियादी जरूरतों से वंचित नहीं रहेगा। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने यह भी व्यक्त किया कि मोदी और योगी सरकार दोनों वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के सर्वोत्तम जीवन और आजीविका प्रदान करने के लिए मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने विभिन्न जिलों के वृद्ध पेंशन लाभार्थियों के साथ ऑनलाइन संवाद भी किया, उनके आहार और स्वास्थ्य के बारे में जानकारी ली। उन्होंने जिलाधिकारियों से यह भी कहा कि हर गरीब व्यक्ति आयुष्मान भारत या मुख्यमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना का पात्र हो.
Eligibility Criteria
- The age should be at least 60 years.
- The income of senior citizens should not be more than Rs 46080 (For Rural areas) and not be more than Rs 56460 (For Urban areas).
- The senior citizen who are already taking advantage of the pension schemes cannot apply for this scheme.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Speech (02 September 2021)
On Thursday (02 September 2021), and Amount of ₹836.55 crores has been transferred by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the account of 55.77 lakh beneficiaries’ bank accounts registered for the national old-age pension scheme. CM stated that no one in Uttar Pradesh would be deprived of necessities. He also announced in the meeting that the objective of वृद्धावस्था पेंशन योजना is to provide the benefit to each poor, farmer, aged individual, and poor woman without any discrimination.
He added that nobody would go hungry or be deprived of basic needs in Uttar Pradesh. In addition, he also expresses that both Modi and the yogi government are working together to provide the best lives and livelihoods of all senior citizens. The CM also communicated online with aged pension beneficiaries from various districts, inquiring about their diet and health. He also told the district magistrates that every poor person should be eligible for the Ayushman Bharat or Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.
A per the speech of CM earlier, many people were neglected by previous schemes and benefits provided by the government, and no one used to pay attention to them, but now UP state officials are doing their best to ensure that aged people live happy lives. He also said that in the last four years, nearly twenty-nine lakh new aged individuals had been successfully joined the Up Old Age Pension Scheme 2021.
