उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने वंचित और आर्थिक रूप से वंचित महिलाओं के लिए यूपी मातृत्व शिशु एवं बालिका योजना 2021 की घोषणा की है। इस कार्यक्रम का प्राथमिक लक्ष्य गर्भवती या हाल ही में जन्म देने वाली महिलाओं को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करना है। बालिका बालिका सहायता योजना के तहत प्रसव से पहले और बाद में महिलाओं को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी। इसका कारण मां और बच्चे के स्वस्थ भविष्य के लिए उनके कठिन समय में मां का स्वस्थ भोजन और पेय उपलब्ध कराना है। इस व्यवस्था से कामकाजी महिलाओं या श्रमिक पुरुषों की पत्नियों को लाभ होगा। इस योजना का लाभ लेने के लिए नियमानुसार आवेदन पत्र जमा करना होगा। इस उत्तर कृषि बालिका सहायता योजना के तहत केवल बच्चे और महिलाएं ही लाभान्वित होंगी।

UP Matritva Shishu Evam Balika Yojana 2021- Benefits
- Male workers who are registered for the Maternity Benefit will get a lump sum amount of Rs.6,000/-
- In the case of women workers, at the time of institutional delivery, the officials will provide a sum equal to three months minimum salary, and Rupees one thousand will be paid as a medical bonus.
- In the event of women labour, the minimum pay is equal to 06 weeks, while in the case of sterilization, it is comparable to 02 weeks.
- Moreover, Rupees twenty thousand will be paid to the registered workers if the child is a boy, and on the other hand, the lump sum of Rs.25,000 will be paid in case of a girl child.
- If the family’s first kid is a female child, and the second child is also a girl, or the girl kid is officially adopted, a sum of twenty-five thousand will be paid. If a child(girl) born handicap, a fixed deposit of Rupees fifty thousand will be paid. The amount will be paid to the girl child once she reached 18 years, and she should be single means not married. In case any of the requirements fail, then there will be no payment.

- The registered employees must serve their duty for at least one year to benefit from the scheme.
- The Matritva Shishu Evam Balika scheme benefit will only be for the first child, and it is also for the second child if both children are girls.
- The benefit will be available to everybody if further girl kid takes birth in the first and second deliveries.
- The benefit of the scheme is also available for the legally adopted girl child.
- A birth certificate of the child will be required for the after-birth benefits.
- The fixed deposit amount will be refunded to the Board if the daughter dies before reaching eighteen.
