Haryana Mukhyamantri Bagwani Bima Yojana 2021
The Haryana government has finally officially announced the Mukhyamantri Horticulture Insurance Scheme. The scheme was approved on 22 September 2021 (Wednesday). The Haryana Mukhyamantri Bagwani Bima Yojana decision was taken at the Haryana Cabinet meeting under Chief Minister ML Khattar. Through this scheme, the government will compensate the farmers growing horticulture crops who have lost their crops due to natural calamities or adverse weather.
According to the announcement, the yojana will cover 21 vegetable, fruit, and spice crops. Farmers would be required to pay a minimal fee of Rs 750 for vegetable and spice crops and Rs 1,000 for fruit crops in such amount, and the farmers will get the insurance of Rs 30,000 for vegetable and spice crops and Rs 40,000 for fruit crops.
While providing the claim for the insurance, the government officials will survey the loss, and such loss will be calculated into the four categories that are 25 per cent, 50 per cent, 75 and 100 per cent. The scheme will be available through the Haryana state, and it is not mandatory to register under the scheme; farmers have their own choice to take the scheme advantage.
Those who want to take the benefit of the scheme have to register for the same. The Haryana Mukhyamantri Bagwani Bima Yojana Registration 2021 will be done through Meri Fasal Mera Byora Portal. The state government, state and district level committees would keep seed money of Rs 10 crore for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
