The Social Justice Department has released the Kerala Vidyakiranam Scheme 2021; this scheme aims to provide Educational Support to Children of Disabled Parents. Those students who are perusing their education from government schools or institutions are eligible to apply, and assistance will only be provided for the education.
Education scholarship under the Kerala Vidyakiranam Scheme 2021 will be available for students of all the classes, and the duration of the scholarship will be 10 months. Those who are willing to apply can check the complete details and do the registration by going through sjd.kerala.gov.in
At the time of registration, candidates must provide the copy of the Attested copy of the Disability certificate of the parents. The disability of the father or mother must be 40% or more. Eligibility Criteria Of Kerala Vidyakiranam Scheme 2021
- Children of those parents who are disabled and belongs to the Below Poverty Line category
- The disability must be more than 40% (father/mother)
- Required to show the BPL ration card and Income certificate.
- The medical board issues a valid certificate of disability.
- A person should hold a Disability ID card.
