Free Education For Girls Scheme
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced a Free Education For Girls Scheme. As per the reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that if two sisters are studying in a private school, then the second child does not have to pay the fee in private school, schools require to waive the fees of one of the girls out of two.
Suppose private schools do not do this. The Social Welfare Department for the girls of the general category and scheduled caste category, minority welfare for minority girls and backward class welfare department for OBC girls will make arrangements to reimburse tuition fees. The Chief Minister stated this at the inauguration scholarship distribution ceremony held at Lok Bhavan here on Saturday.

The Chief Minister said that many people are not able to pay fees due to the Corona situation. This scheme of girl child education will help such people a lot. Under this scheme, if two or more daughters of the same family are studying in the same school, then a fee of one girl must be waived off if schools fail to do the same, then the government will compensate for the fee of one girl child.
The Chief Minister directed that the scholarship process must be completed for the applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities, Backward, General Category by 30 November 2021 by any means.
Over 1.5 lakh students will benefit from Uttar Pradesh Free Education For Girls Scheme, the scholarship will be provided till graduation. Those who intend to avail of the scheme’s benefit can apply for this scheme as per the rules and regulations.

Free Coaching
Social Welfare Minister Ramapati Shastri said that besides providing scholarships department is also running schemes of free coaching for competitive examinations.
“Our government is granting a scholarship of Rs 3,900 crores, which was barely Rs 1800 crores in the previous government,”. Education is the crucial component of a child’s existence, without which they will not be able to grow into a good human being. Furthermore, all uneducated girl children live in poverty and are denied employment prospects.
This UP Free Education Scheme will primarily help female students from low-income families remove any obstacles to their study. The government will guide parents on the significance of education with this UP-free education scheme. All girl children from low-income families are entitled to free education and the opportunity to achieve a better future for themselves.
Furthermore, this program will enhance the financial status of female students, allowing them to obtain better jobs in the commercial or public sector. The Yogi government’s initiatives to improve education standards include this free education policy for girls.
